Recently got back into collecting baseball cards. The hobby has exploded since the last time I collected in the early 2000's and it's tough to find retail in stores with scalpers and flippers snatching everything up.

Anyhow 2021 Topps series 1 was just released a few days ago. Went by walmart on my lunch break and they just happened to have individual packs and I picked up 6 of them at $3 a pop.

Got home and opened up first pack and hit a 1 of 1 Francisco Lindor. First 1 of 1 I've ever pulled.

Ordered Yellow Bastard comics by Frank Miller from his Sin City series can't wait to grab it I guess that my cousin will be reallly glad to have it. Also ordered some repellers on the internet to handle a mosquito problem. Hope that ultrasonic ones work well against these insects because when the weather is hot there are tons of mosquitoes everywhere

HOLY HELL!!!

That is unreal. I've been collecting sports cards for about 6-7 years now and I've never hit a true 1/1 that wasn't a printing plate. And out of a $3 pack, that's absolutely nuts.

I haven't been able to get any retail cards for like a year without paying triple the price on eBay. I did get two 2021 Donruss hobby boxes and pulled a Bobby Dalbec auto, unfortunately it isn't numbered.

Not bad. It's running a little cheaper on eBay. His stuff has gone down a bit since they sent him down. But it's a great investment with low risk and high reward.

You should think about getting it graded. a 9.5 or 10 could double or even triple the value.
