Had one of these growing up, probably ended up in the garbage or gone in a garage sale (long story short, I had a bunch of collectible items growing up that "accidentally" got grouped in with the garage sale items. So great condition collectible stuff I had as a kid probably got sold for like 50 cents. Maybe that's why my parents garaage sales were popular...)

Ones on Ebay are ridiculously priced for obvious reason. This isn't the same thing that was made in the 90s, but its probably 90% similar.

And makes a cool gift to "pass down". I never care about getting current/trendy toys to give as gifts. I like going old school and getting peoples kids more retro styled toys/games that they very likely don't already have.

If I had a friend that did this for me, they would be my best friend.. except they would have to deal with them being for me and not a kid.

It flips heads. So you can change between the human and power ranger mask. The head that's not at the top will be "stored" inside the body.

The original black ranger was my fave, played by Walter Emanuel Jones (who I just googled and saw he's 50!). Other power ranger figurines just have the power ranger costumes, but I think this might be one of the only versions of the toy that had him also part of it.

The originals are definitely better than remake (what else is new), but maybe the heads on the new ones are just bigger or something, who knows.

I can’t see the pics but my brother had a few so I remember what the originals looked like. I don’t see why they didn’t increase the head size if they were bulking up the bodies. I’m guessing they’re chunkier to make them easier for kids to hold, but the tiny head really makes it look more absurd.
