Re: How do you sleep ?

IDK why but unless I'm completely out of it, I can't fall asleep with the TV on. I also prefer to sleep with all the lights off because any light keeps me up for some reason, even with my eyes closed. I have a crazy habit of turning my pillow over to get the "cold side" too.

Finally and most importantly, I sleep with the doors locked.

Just have the window open during summer(closed during winter) and listen to radio while laying down.

Fan on, TV on and set to 2 hours on the sleep timer.

I normally watch a disc of a TV show season. Recently it's been Arrested Development.

On my side (either one) on the right side of my bed. Sometimes with a hand under my pillow so I wake up with a club for a hand due to it being asleep. Two pillows under the head, and a third randomly floating around the bed. Window cracked open (even in winter). Fan in the summer. Radio on 90 minute sleep timer on ESPN radio.

I don't have a TV in my bedroom because I will end up leaving it on all night. This wastes electricity and also messes with your sleep cycle.

Re: How do you sleep ?

I've gone from being a heavy sleeper to a extremely light one since I was put on a regular med schedule...so now I sleep with earplugs and all light sources out.

I've always prefered the cold for sleeping.

I love my memory foam bed so very much.

Normally on my side. As long as it's dark and no noise, I fall asleep quickly.

Can't fall asleep with the radio or tv on unless I'm very tired.

Always on my side, lights off, a/c or ceiling fan on depending how warm it is. TV off.

And I can't be touched when I sleep, my wife always wants to cuddle. We go through this every night. So I will usually hold her for a few minutes and then turn around to my side and fall asleep comfortably.

I also turn my pillow over numerous times before I fall asleep. I can't stand sleeping on a warm pillow, I love the cold side.

I put a movie on. Normally to keep the environment calm, I'll put on the commentary track.

I'm pretty sure I sleep on my side. I have two pillows and a Squish pillow, which starts underneath my head and eventually gets tucked underneath my arm.

To the loud sleepers (read: snorers) out there, do those breathe right nose strips help?

I'm not a loud sleeper, but my dad is. It doesn't have to do with nasal congestion for him though, it's from his breathing around his esophagus instead. He needs to be more upright to reduce snoring.

Unless you want to a/c your whole house lower or having a zoned system, a fan is a lot better. You make it feel cooler without having to pay to cool the whole house.
