Can you imagine seeing that live? See the van on the road swerve hard right to avoid the debris?

If he hits his breaks, it changes how he crashes and he probably dies. All I know Darwin has to do a better job, You cant let one like that get away.

That happened about 20 miles from me. I'm glad he survived. But it's kinda sad that it seems to be a trend around here, as of late. We had a 16 year old, down closer to Cinci that wasn't nearly as fortunate. He was going about the same speed, running from a cop, afraid that he'd get into trouble for missing curfew. He died. I'm not gonna do the "throwing stones living in glass houses" thing, though. I used to have a big speeding problem in my Vibe GT. Like about 100-115 mph, at times. I finally had to chill after my third speeding ticket. Deb said I had to sell my "toys" to pay for any future tickets. Slowed me down, finally..... That and I have the boys in the car, a lot of times.....

Stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid. You're endangering so many lives. This guy has to have been on something... and if not, that's only worse that he thinks it's a good idea to do something like this.

I don't feel safe on the roads, at all. I expect people to do dumb ****, and they usually do. Honestly feel like I'm playing Russian Roulette when I get into a car these days. Except I don't know when the trigger is being pulled.

Even people that do stupid things should get a chance to learn from it, hopefully. I do hope that, in his future, he makes better choices. Truth is he could've killed someone else while he was doing this. But he didn't. I'm just glad he gets the chance to chose to never do this again. Some people don't even get the chance to chose. They make the "game over" mistake. Glad he didn't....

When I saw this video, all I could think of was Knight Rider and little turbo boost action...

Why haven't governors been out on American automobiles that restrict speed to, say, 75 or 80 MPH? That would keep this kind of stupidity from happening.

Re: 100 MPH crash caught on tape!

I just passed the crash site not 45-50 minutes ago. I was over a friends house from work, working on his PC. Decided to take 675 home to see it for myself. To say you have to see something to really appreciate it is a major understatement. Man, the mark on the pillar is literally about 15 feet in the air, almost up the the roadway above and black like there was a fire where it hit. It was a sight to see. I really don't know how: A) the car got that high up the pillar, and B) how the dude survived it. It really is a bit of grace for the guy. Guess they don't make cars like that anymore! Did find out the dude had been arrested about 4 that morning with a teen girl and drugs in the car. He'd just been released before he had the accident. Bad to worse......

I Imagine that would probably cause a uproar similar if the Government were to take away your guns.

You can own a gun but you cant kill someone

You can own a car that goes 120MPH but cant go over 70...

Stupidty has a name and it is Brennan S. Eden, 19, of Mason, Ohio.

I saw the video prior to reading the article, and assumed he just obliterated into dust. Astonished he survived. Was that an NSX?

Seriously? More Govt. intervention is not wanted/needed.

Judging by the tail lights and the body of the car, it looks like a third generation Pontiac Firebird or a third generation Chevrolet Camaro, I don't think I saw the NSX spoiler on the car.
