Re: Do you kill bugs/spiders?
Bugs, yes. Spiders I usually don't kill. Smaller ones don't really bother me. I'd rather have one spider than 50 million ants.Comment

Re: Do you kill bugs/spiders?
I avoid it if possible. My thinking: those critters are just trying to live their life and if they aren't harming me I'll leave them be - of course, I take them outside.Comment

That's a good way to look at it. Me personally, I crush the **** out of em. Period. But next time I see one I'll think back to this post before deciding to smash the ****er.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Do you kill bugs/spiders?
Every time I see a spider somewhere and I think "He's not bothering me" and leave him alone...
...he's gone by the next time I look at that area, and then I begin to freak out about where that ****er disappeared to.Comment

Re: Do you kill bugs/spiders?
I think the same too. The only time I actually go out of my way to kill spiders or bugs is if they're big and any means of trying to get them outside fails. To be honest I prefer having a spider than having a huge ant problem in my room and will let the spider stay in my room as long as it doesn't cross certain lines in my room.Comment

Re: Do you kill bugs/spiders?
I get those centipedes every once in a while, usually I will find them dead, if not Raid works. I basically Raid everything that I have time to get the Raid. I don't want to make a mess by squishing it.
A wasp once got in my house and I went crazy, the thing chased me. I grabbed something as a shield and had something to swing at it. I tried to kill it, but only winged it. Then it finally went into my fish tank. I then held it underwater for 5-10 mins, but the thing was able to trap air on its body, so it took a while to drown.Comment

+1 I don't go out of my way to kill a bug. As long as it's not on me I let it be. Mosquitoes I kill on sight...I hate the itching from their bite.I think the same too.
