I like Joe Buck but I seriously don't know why so many other people don't like him lol.

But my vote goes to Baseball.

If you take away biases, Buck is probably the best football announcer on TV today (well the Randy Moss/Green Bay thing notwithstanding) but as good as his football work it's his baseball stuff that drives people insane and make them hate him so much.

I don't like the sound of Joe Buck's voice or when he's working with Troy Aikman, who is probably my least favorite commentator that I can name off the top of my head.

As a whole, the BTN is absolutely dreadful when it comes to announcers regardless of sport.

Football. The announcers really don't do anything to stifle the stereotype that football players are lumbering idiots. I just can't stand listening to any of them. Yeah, baseball has it's bad announcers, but there are at least some good ones out there. I've yet to find a football announcer who hasn't made me feel dumber for having listened to him.

Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock aren't bad.

Jon Gruden, Mike Mayock, Phil Simms and Cris Collinsworth. Troy Aikman also isn't bad as well.

Simms would be a lot better if he didn't revert to Howdy Doody Time when analysing games. I swear at times he sounds like some guy from the backwoods of the south or something.

As a whole I would have to go with basketball. I'm not a big fan of the loud an obnoxious announcer and basketball is full of them.
