      William every lad in the family has always had William for Sir William Wallace. Supposedly he is my great great great great great great great great great great and more greats grandfather way down the road though haha.

        My grandfather didn't have a middle name so I am fully named after him in my first and middle names with my father's last name.

            Very interesting to read a lot of these. I don't think I recall one "maiden name" post yet like mine, but I'll have to re-read the "grandfather's name" ones to make sure they weren't referring to "mother's father's last name" haha.

            I obviously don't yet know how many children I will have, let alone what their names will be (gender is obviously a factor here), but I would always like to give a middle name based on how it flows with the first and last name, and I want to avoid weird initials like C.A.R. or something (as my last name is Robinson).
