Not really. This is seriously how you should wash your hands. Turn the sink on warm, use soap and and rinse your hands... then leave the sink ON, grab the paper towels to dry your hands off, then use the paper towels to turn off the sink.

Don't forget to use those paper towels to grab the door handle on your way out.

I'm with Cusefan though, I don't get the over-reliance on sanitizers. The worst is the parents who basically don't allow their kids to get exposed to anything, then get shocked when it takes them 3 weeks to get over a simple cold.

Thats what I was gonna say. Unless its a #2 or I piss on my hands, i will give my immune system some work to do, Whats the point of having one if they are not gonna do anything?

Seriously, there are more germs on a keyboard than a public toilet seat, so are you gonna wash your hands after every time you type something?

Here is some food for thought: over using Purell can damage your bodies Immune system.Purell does not kill 100% of the bacteria on your hand(hence the "kills 99.9% of Bacteria"). The surviving bacteria reproduce and a resistance/tolerance develops to the product. Purell can also kill Anti-bodies for your hands if you use it too much.

This is really true. A lot of OCD people with gem phobias develop major issues with bacteria. Smallest issues becomes massive medical problems.

Human beings are no different than animals. We use to live out side with everything and our bodies learned to fight off those things.

I recently read a article about adults who were never exposed to germs as kids are growing up with massive medical problems. Kids are supposed to get dirty and eat dirt, Adults are supposed to piss all over their hands then eat a ham sandwich, its been this way for centuries.

Completely agree Cuse. I mean I am not nasty dirty by any means. But I also don't over think things when it comes to germs. I also rarely get sick so maybe me biting my dirty nails helps that

Except for the fact that hand washing is probably the single most important thing that someone can do to stay healthy. And someone not washing their hands after using the restroom is dirty and nasty.

Do you wash your hands after using a Keyboard, Opening a door, or handling money? All of these things I listed have similar amount of germs than those found in a bathroom, If you shower daily, you will not get sick by touching your genitalia and not washing your hands.

But Like I said, Germs can be good, they strengthen your immune system. I dont get sick often(once or twice a year) and I really do not worry about germs. If you are germ free, It will take twice and long(or longer) to battle a simple cold.
