When I was 12 I threw a perfect game in little league. Six inning game, struck out the first 17 batters, and the last guy tried to bunt to get on.

I actually threw something like 5 no-hitters that year, made it into the local newspaper, thought for sure I was gonna go pro... But by the time I was about 15 I was on the same level as other good players.

The story ends with me hangin' 'em up during college, just because I wasn't very good. In fact probably threw about as hard then as I did when I was 12.

In my senior year in High School, I was at a bowling tournament, and bowled 12 strikes in a row through 2 games, I ended up getting 3rd in the tournament. And got my high of 254.

Little League, age 12, I went 3-3 with a 3-run HR, a grand slam and an RBI double. I pitched the last three innings of the game, striking out 5 on no hits and no walks. We won the game 17-7 in 4 innings. This may not be a crazy game stat wise, but I was an average at best player on a terrible team. We won maybe 4-5 games out of the 20 game schedule. Also I drove in 8 of the 7 runs we had, essentially beating the team by myself. And boy did I really kill that grand slam. :-D

Never did dominate, but in 6th grade, we had a big game. Our old center that went to a different school came back to play. It was 30 to 32 at the end. There was 2 seconds left. They were down and had the ball. They inbounded it to him and I was on him. He had to put it up with .5 left AND I BLOCK IT ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER END OF THE COURT. That was the peak of my sports career.

My biggest would probably be when I was a junior in football we were in the first round of playoffs and I started at safety that game and finished with 11 tackles a sack and a key interception when they were in the red zone.

My first Varsity football game single handidly destroyed the rest of the games I ever played.

1 Fumble recovered
1 20 yard scamper for a TD
3 Sacks
7 solo Tackles

For the rest of that season I was double teamed every singe play.

In a travel baseball tourney, pitched 2 CG shut-outs, one being a no-no.

In soccer, had a few tournies where I was the MVP of the tournaments.

The most notable was one in FL where I lead the tournament with 6 goals in 3 games.



Also, I won state's best free-throw shooter at my age level

I was never the most athletic. I played football mostly, and a year of baseball in 4th grade. My baseball team never won a game and I never played again .

In 7th grade I scored the only touchdown I ever had. My dad missed it because he was our team trainer and was tending to the player who had just broken his arm and was supposed to run the ball in on that play. But we won the Championship that year which was awesome.

I never got to play a season of football again till 12th grade. Got cut in 8th grade. It was down to me and one other kid,he was softer than me out there on the field, but he was allowed to stay on the team for two reasons. His dad funded our new helmets, and he could long snap. Got injured in 9th grade after making the team and had to sit out. Din't try out in 10th grade and had to quit during 11th to focus on school.

Senior year I got 13 yards off two carries and 6 tackles during garbage time of one game we were blowing some team out. That's my career lol.

My favorite best performance of mine came the first night I ever scored more than 20 points in a game my junior year. I had 22 points and 12 rebounds to help my squad upset the eventual state semi-finalist and temporarily rest ourselves atop of the conference and area standings. This performance helped earn me Player of the Week honors in our region's newspaper.

Even with all the time I poured into the game of basketball, I never figured I'd ever score more than a dozen points in a game, so the first time I dropped 20 was pretty big for me.

Football: On defense as a NT I had 2 tackles for a loss in a game. Yeah, no big deal. On offense as a Left Guard I graded out with a 90 with 2 pancakes in one game. Again, nothing fancy, when you're in the trenches is always best to not be noticed lol

Powerlifting: Personal records my senior year. Squat: 560, Bench: 320, Deadlift: 650 - Those are above average numbers, nothing to applaud really, but I put in the work.

Two years ago in a college bowling tournament in Vegas, our team finished 3rd. We were around 13th after the team games.

I forgot how many teams made the cut, but we were pretty close to the cut line (we usually aren't very good). The format was a best-of-5 baker games. (Baker games are where each bowler bowls 2 frames. So bowler 1 bowls frames 1 and 5, bowler 2 bowls frames 2 and 6, etc, etc.)

The first round we drew a school named Pikeville's B team. We beat them in 5 games. Next we drew Pikeville's A team, and also beat them in 5 games.

We then got to face Arizona State, the host of the tournament, and also took them to 5 games and won. So we made it to the final 4 and got to face Wichita State, one of the best teams in the country. They are a perennial dynasty in college bowling.

We jumped out to an early lead, but ended up losing in 5 games. There is no doubt in my mind that if we would have won that match we would have won the tournament. Still haunts me to this day.

But I did average around 200 that tournament, and it is the highlight of my college bowling career....so far. That along with finishing 15th out of 268 bowlers in a tournament last year (also in Vegas). I just love bowling in Vegas.
