Does this girl like me?

This is for all the OS members that have some good girl advice etc.

So I'm a Junior in high school at the moment, and there is this girl in like 5 of my classes that I like. We talk a lot at school and text on a pretty daily basis. She thinks I'm really funny. She'll talk to me things that happen at home, (for example) Her dog is about to die and she was telling me about it, and this girl was getting on her nerves and she was talking to me about and asking if she did the correct thing. During my World History class she came straight to me when we got to study in groups. We'll talk for long periods of time in class if were not doing anything.

Sometimes I'll know she staring at me and I'll try to avoid it, and there has been a couple of times where we both catch each other staring. She also calls me "Joe" for some unknown reason. I know these are not the best details, but do the best you can.



I just want know if she likes me and what signs should I look out for. I would read around the internet, but I think I would believe more of what users here on OS have to say rather then some stranger I see on Yahoo Answers.

Girls are odd. The fact that she talks to you could mean she likes you OR she is just out-going. If she stares at you then thats a plus, she calls you Joe thats a minus (I assume thats not your name)

It probably wont be your only girlfriend in your life, just gotta ask her if she likes you.

Here are some simple, easy to follow tips.

- Flirt. Honestly if a girl called me "Joe" or some name that's not mine, I'd take that as flirting. Well then you can bet I'm flirting right back. If her name is Jennifer call her Jessica next time just to be "cute".

- If you want it go for it. I personally like the "ballsy" approach. Just hit her a little off guard one day (after you've flirted a couple days and catch some good vibes). If it's Thursday and you two are talking/texting...say "So when are you cooking me that dinner?".

Girls absolutely love confidence with a touch of arrogance.

If you do the "OMG you're so pretty", "your eyes are beautiful", "you are such a nice person", "I'm pathetic & desparate to have you" you will get nowhere and I will not respect you!

Listen to me kid. Women are different, but I will say this why don't you ask her. The worst thing she can say is no. I wish I was not so damn shy in High School. The only time I dated a girl was when they asked me out. And for why? Because I was stupid. when you get older you will think about why didn't I just ask girls out. So if you like this girl, tell her, if she says no, and she just like you as a friend then say that is cool too. If I knew what I know now I would have ask out every hot girl I could have found. I am sure one would have said yes. Though I was pretty popular and High School, but you get the point. So go ask her if she would like to go out with you some time. Then you will know one way or the other.

Joe is slang.......Go to Chicago, Detroit or any major city in the midwest in an urban area and you will hear people say Wassup Joe all the damn time.......been that way since the 1970s. Now it is wassup yo....and in the northeast NY area it is whats the business son ?

But anyway, just be direct and ask. Because it sounds to me you have fallen into the FRIEND ZONE, which means that is as far as you going to get if you get put in a girls friend zone.
