A 20 pound turkey, my god you'd have to feed the neighborhood on that. If I was you though I'd get the turkey, eat what I wanted and take the rest to a homeless shelter. Unless that's too much of a hassle for you...just a thought.
Oh I won't waste the certificate, it'll be made on Christmas when I go home!

I'm guessing that the local Meijer's (similar to Super Target or Super Wal-Mart) will have a pretty extensive deli on Thanksgiving day where I can just snag all the good Thanksgiving fixin's.

My parents are hosting Thanksgiving and told me they planned to pass the phone around to everyone with me on the other line. That's not happening...

I'm not making anything, but the only things I'm responsible for is that I have I'm required to stay 10 feet from the kitchen and I eat.

My employer gives everyone a certificate for a 20 lb Turkey, but there's no way I would prepare that for myself! lol
Check around and see if there's some kind of community center or church doing Thanksgiving dinner. The worst that can happen is you get a free meal. Who knows, you might meet some people from the area.

On top of that, their living room is so damn small, 3 of their living rooms can fit inside of the living room of my house, so FML some more.

But yet my wife always wonders why I don't like staying long over there

It's like hell, it's tiny, don't got crap to do over there, hot as hell during the summer time and cold as hell in that house during the fall, winter time.

....and Happy Thanksgiving to you as well my friend. LOL

I won't lie... If it were up to me, I'd cook a frozen pizza or order some Pizza Hut.

I just went to Meijer and got mashed potatoes, a pumpkin pie, and a roasted turkey breast chunk (1 lb of meat approx.). It's pretty good.
