I'll be here in High Point with my mom and grandma (my dad is going to be flying, so he won't be home). Hopefully, we'll get a nice snowstorm that afternoon and into Boxing Day as it appears might happen now!

    Merry Christmas!

      Happy non-denominational winter holiday!!

I'll be over at my mom's house for Christmas dinner along with my sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and grandma. My aunt and 2 cousins are coming in on the 28th so we'll be doing a larger Christmas get together sometime next week. Probably have another holiday gathering with my dads side of the family around New Years, though we don't really exchange gifts since all the kids are grown on that side.

Same things our family does every year.

On Christmas Eve the entire extended family gets together, sits through church, goes back to my Grandma and Grandpa's house to open presents. After we've been there for awhile, my family goes to my other Grandma's house. More present opening. And awkward tolerance of the relatives that you secretly hate, and you know they secretly hate you, but everyone has to play nice because we're related.

Then the next day we all get together, minus the relatives for which we share mutual disdain, and eat a large meal while watching the NBA.

No plans this year. Me and my wife are keeping it low key. We don't have any kids and we don't exchange gifts. We did get a few things for the dog that he will enjoy... I will be stuffing a ham on Christmas Eve for Christmas dinner the following day.

Heck, we didn't even decorate this year since my wife has been traveling for work the last few weeks. Plus, we thought we going up north to visit family but those plans fell through.

Re: Merry Christmas to all of OS( or whatever you celebrate)

This is the first time seeing most of my relatives and my fiancee's relatives as an engaged couple so it'll be a little different this year. We have a ton of Christmas' to go to. Christmas Eve's at her mom's (4 hour drive), then down to my cousin's on Christmas for a small get together, back up to her uncle's on the 26th, and back down to her dad's on the 27th.

We'll follow that up with my families' big Christmas over New Years Eve weekend this year. A lot of my family members have to work late Christmas Eve and can't make the trek to my cousin's by Christmas day, so we just pushed it back a week.
