It's also really no different from new games coming out and people going crazy over them. Threads for Undisputed 2010 and Backbreaker had people going crazy for the game also.

Rockstar is one company whose open world/sandbox type games i'd buy without knowing a damn thing about. That's just how much cred that company has built up for me.

TBH, I thought RDR got kind of boring, and I didn't even finish the story. Maybe it's just because I'm not that big of a Wild West guy. Luckily I borrowed it from a friend, or I would have been disappointed in spending money on it.

LA Noire seems to be more up my alley.

Oh - and speaking of Doritos. Taco Bell needs to hurry up and just introduce the taco shell made out of Original Doritos to the whole country right meow.

I'm all for personal opinions. GTA IV didn't really appeal to me, although it was a well-made game. RDR was amazing, IMO. I truly believe Rockstar cares about the quality of the games that it puts out. Far more than other publishers, like Bethesda Softworks and THQ.

RDR was well-made, don't get me wrong. Just didn't appeal to me story and setting-wise like GTA4 did.
