I'm fully jealous, I want a beard. I have full on envy and somewhat admiration for a perfectly critiqued beard...I ain't a homo or anything but hey, I love me some beardage.

It's upsetting to me that I can not shave for nearly 2 months and I STILL cannot get my goatee to hookup with my moustache...

I have this problem too and it pisses me off.

Not complaining too bitterly I do have a good chunk of hair on my jaw and my moustache is thin but it's got a lot of coverage. So i'm happy though some days I say "man, if only I had a beard."

Yeh, I don't see how shaving more will affect hair growth. It's like cutting grass...it's like the more I cut my grass that the more I will see. If there are dead spots, cutting over it ain't gonna help anything.

It is not a myth it grow thinker, but OK. The genes one is not completely accurate either. You also have your mom's gene pool too in you. I can grow a beard in about week. But it took awhile it was about in my late 20's before I could grow the connection to my goatee.
