Went to a strip club last night, for the first time ever.

It actually wasn't as terrible as I thought it was going to be. Wicked awkward, though, but a solid portion of the girls were attractive so it was worth it.

Aside from a stripper smacking my beer off the edge and onto my lap as she tried to spank my friend twenty-three times.

Anyway, something that I've always been afraid would happen finally happened. I was expecting a package that required a signature, but my bowels also needed emptying. So I'm sitting on the toilet and my phone starts ringing (I live in an apartment so they call from the main entrance). I had to hurry up and wipe my butt, jam my feet into my boots, and run outside in a t-shirt to get my package.

Snow Day = home made waffles for breakfast and NCAA 11 all day.

I love snow.

My new snow day= waking up extra early, digging my car out of the snow and kicking the icicles off of it, then hauling my *** to work.

The first time I ever went to a strip club was on my birthday as well. My uncles arranged it so I could get a few more liberties than normal. I must say that was nice of them


Anyways, there's a ton of snow out here. Thank goodness it stopped snowing. It also seems snow causes people to do crazy things as some nutbar went out with a gun, shot a snowplow driver and went on a rampage with said snowplow. He hit a police cruiser which had a police officer inside. Said police officer was killed instantly.

It's a pretty tragic thing as police officers dying in the line of duty in Toronto is a bit of a rarity. This is the first time this has happened since 2002.

I've been in such a rut the last few days

I feel like i'm getting out of it though but when I get a bout of depression it always takes a hold of me to the point that i'm sleeping all the time and I feel like there's nothing to live for.

Hang in there man. I've noticed a lot of times when this happens to me, simply getting a little exercise and good nutrition helps. I recommend foods like bananas, eggs, and almonds. They are "mood foods" and can naturally help cheer you up.

Well my car started to overheat this morning as I wait for gf at her house, totally makes sense when it's like 50 degrees and I drove for 10 minutes

If you have time to let your car cool down, give a look at the antifreeze. (I'm not actually a car guy, so this might be the most obvious solution to everyone else).

I'm thinking it was Tim Whatley in the super bowl episode? Could be wrong...

Yeah, I was pissed when she, somehow, whacked my beer bottle off the edge of the bar - mind you, it was a good three feet from my friend she was spanking - and it landed right on my leg, poured beer everywhere. Luckily she was a....nice....stripper and got me a free replacement.

I'm twenty-two and that was my first one. I want to go back, because nothing will ever beat the pure awkwardness of the situations. It was hilarious.

We had at least a three week period here in England were during the day temperatures would only reach up to about 2 degrees (That's centigrade, not fahrenheit). As it got to about 7 PM it would already be below freezing.

Walking to and from college everyday was was a pain in the ***. And then as the weather starting getting better, it starts raining for a few days! English weather is unpredictable and annoying.

I had the privilege of visiting your country during that period.

The day I left it warmed up to 11C in London. The weather hates me.

I've only been to one strip club and it was a real shady one in Providence Rhode Island. It was a full nude strip club and they did a lot of things. Some of the stippers were really ugly though. And this wasn't like a Tuesday morning, this was a Saturday night so I'm surprised they let the ugly ones out in prime-time. It did get annoying though having the stippers come up to you every 5 minutes, asking to take you to the back for a special show.

Wow.

I went to the strip club one time. My car got hit so I'm not too happy about that, but besides that it was a good time. Most hilarious thing was this Middle Aged Asian guy who came in drunk out of his mind. He goes to the main stage, throws down a dollar, puts his feet up on the stage, opens his legs and proceeds to yell, "Bring it ONNNNNN!" When they didn't do anything for his dollar he gets up and gives them that "forget you" gesture and stumbles away till he trips on a chair.

I had a good time though, got into the VIP for free and got a special show.

Oh and my friend literally asked about "lap-dance protocol" .

I've only been to one strip club and it was a real shady one in Providence Rhode Island. It was a full nude strip club and they did a lot of things. Some of the stippers were really ugly though. And this wasn't like a Tuesday morning, this was a Saturday night so I'm surprised they let the ugly ones out in prime-time.

Yikes. I'd hate to see the D-squad there.

I'm a grizzled veteran of the strip club. There's one right downtown here that is actually more of a regular bar. Every once in awhile you look over and are like, oh - a stripper, lol. It's more of a fringe benefit than the reason you go there.

Now the other one in town is just a straight strip club. Haven't been there in a long time. Also, across the bridge in Superior, WI, there's two across the street from each other. Centerfolds and the Lamplighter. I haven't been to either of those but have heard horror stories from friends. Including one where a few went in there on like a Tuesday night and....they had to wake the stripper up who was napping in the bathroom to come out and dance. They said she was kind of old and yawning the entire time.

Yeah, you should've seen his face when he was just like "uhh....uh.....hard?"

My other buddy and I started laughing and had to look away 'cause it was that awkward. I don't think I've ever had such a hilariously awkward time...which is why I want to go back. And maybe get a lapdance next time.


Oh, and for kicks, this same stripper also told us that she had already puked once upstairs because she was so drunk.


Oh, and strip clubs in Providence are scummy. Almost went to one freshman year of college since I went to Providence College....they opened at 6am for "Legs and Eggs."

Also, we have a Centerfolds and a Lamplighter around here, as well. I think Centerfolds is the next stop when we go out again.

For a Tuesday night at "Mario's Showplace" the crew wasn't that bad. One ridiculously hot girl, one very good, one above average and then two that were just...ugh.
