Yeah I forgot it can get busy sometimes. I hardly ever go with friends, I'm the opposite of most people and prefer working out alone and doing my own thing.

I'm thinking of joining a gym off-base when I get back in the states, can anyone tell me what I'm looking at price wise?

      I figure it varies everywhere.

I go to a gym where more of the "rich" folks go, so I'm spending about 26$ a month. They advertise outside that it's $19.99 a month, but that doesn't include the card I scan every time I walk in.

I've paid about $30 before at Target fitness and a few other places here that are 24/7, but I usually work out after work around 5:30 anyways.. so I just stick with the gym I'm going to.

I like the people who own it and they take good care of their equipment and stuff..

They put TVs up on the walls, play good music, etc.. just a nicer gym.

I figure most anywhere you go, you'll be paying somewhere around $30.00,

Not sure what kind of insurance you have though the military, but mine through work pays $20/month towards a membership. Check into that.

Yeah I doubt my standard military insurance will help as there are gyms offered on base. I have always used the gyms on the bases, but on the base I'm stationed at back home the hours suck (6 am-7 pm) and it is usually very busy. Anything under $30 sounds reasonable. Plus I like to spend as much time off-base as possible.

Well I had fun at Dorney Park yesterday. Got on one ride yesterday but punked out after that on the rest of the rides.

                    Oh, Burger King.

Making the original chicken sandwich just $1.04 this weekend was a mistake. A mistake I will make you pay dearly for.

I won't even eat McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, or Hardys anymore.

I think it's 20+ years of that being the food choices when I go to town.

I'll usually stick to Zaxbys, Guthries, Arbys, or Lee's/KFC and the occasional Ralleys.

Then again, I rarely even eat fast food at all now.

I like Arby's, I like KFC, I have never heard of the others.

I said this in a different thread, but the South seems to have about 100 fast food chains that I have never heard of.

One of the team captains from when I played high school football walked onto Oregon State's football team last year. He made the NCAA 12 roster and I mentioned it to him last night. Today I check the teambuilder roster and find that instead of being a somewhat pale white guy, they made him one of the darkest skin colors on there.

Zaxbys and Guthries have similar chicken, but their sauces are what seperate them. Zaxbys has a bunch of different sauces and almost all of them are awesome. I like them equally, though.

Lee's is only in the south. If you think KFC is good, this stuff is awesome. If I'm correct in saying this, we have the only Lee's Chicken in the state.

Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken offers honey-dipped, hand-breaded fried chicken with 12 pc Family Meal, Chicken Pot Pie, and catering options. Download the Lee's Rewards app to earn points, get rewards, and find exclusive promotions.

I rarely ever DONT eat in at Guthries. I admire the guy who owns it and his taste in women. They are all smokin'.

I now hate you Chase. You posted the Zaxby's website and now i know they have a strawberry cheesecake shake. I already miss the chicken and sauces from there, but now you've just ruined my day even more with that info.
