So my stomach problems finally reached a peak today and I had to get to the Doctor's this morning for an...exam. Now it's gotten to the point that I'm finally going to see a GI specialist tomorrow morning for a consult. Hopefully it's not something serious and it's just what my doctor told me it was today (IBS that irritated something).

Hopefully it's nothing. I have a cousin with IBS and he has to watch what he eats at times. Did you ever get that racing heartbeat problem you were having a few weeks back checked out?

Nope - it went away on its own, so I think it was just anxiety about certain things that were going on at that moment.

And yeah, I'm 99% sure (as are my doctors, and my parents who both have it) I have IBS...which is fine, I know the feelings and how to deal with it, as annoying as it can be most of the time...but stuff went haywire this morning in my stomach so had to go get checked out.

Nothing serious was found by my doctor, but he's having me go to the GI specialist tomorrow morning for a consult to see if they need to run more specific tests and such to figure out if there is anything more serious wrong, or if it was just that the IBS caused something to rupture.
