Trust us Midwest guys. Being hot is way better then being cold. -20 with wind chill is 10 times worse then 100 with humidity.

Actually I'm from Ohio. I Lived there up till about a year and a half ago so I know how bad it can get. I guess I was more referring to working outside I guess. I'd much rather work outside in the cold any day than in 100+ degree weather.

I still prefer colder weather, just not all of the snow. The driving in, and shoveling of snow is easily the worst part about midwestern weather imo.

Yup, give me cold over hot every day. Its much easier to warm up than it is to cool down, as you said bugs (I'm looking at you, ****ing mosquitoes) die off and it's much easier to sleep in cold than it is to sleep in warm temperatures in my opinion.

Just received some disturbing news this morning from my mother. Late last night my cousin was stabbed 12 times in her driveway by an ex coworker. They had worked together at a local market before she began college at URI this year. He had an unhealthy obsession with her which caused her to file a restraining order against him.

During Christmas break he had slashed her tires and was arrested for that. That was the last time he had caused any kind of incident or tried to contact her.

He fractured her left arm , stabbed her in her right side four times , right twice , chest five , and her spine once. Shes in stable condition but the doctors are worried about the stabbing to the spine.

He was arrested last night by the state police and is currently in prison. Which is good news. Waiting for my mother to get to my house so we can go to the hospital together. There are some sick and disturbing people in the world.

Another vote for cold here. Best thing is to wake up on a Saturday morning under a heavy blanket.

But I'll agree, shoveling snow can be a pain.

Wow....I hope your cousin retains the ability to walk and such as stabbing the spinal area is always a dicey thing. I can't believe how disturbed some people are.

I didn't even think about that, another reason I like winter. South Carolina has some of the nastiest mother ****ing roaches you will ever see, and they're every where except during the winter.
