Re: Off Topic 2011
You seriously need to stop giving a **** about what people think of you. With the way you post, it would seem like YOU were the one living in Los Angeles. How much have you bitched and moaned about your so-called friends on this board? You're really living your life to please them or to appear a certain way for whoever you're trying to please?
Newsflash: Most people don't give a **** about you. Not you as in you. You as in general. People put ENTIRELY too much effort into living their lives for others.
Stop it. Good LORD.Bears | Bulls | Cubs | Illinois | #Team3Some

Re: Off Topic 2011
Here's mine. It's 16.5 credits, but I'll probably drop 1 class getting it down to 13.5. Kinda low, but it what they recommended and I have football first semester.
I'm probably dropping one of the two History courses, so that will free it up a bit. It's nice to have an option on what I take.WUSTLComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
We always started the week of my birthday and went to the first week of June. I remember Christmas break my Senior year was 8 days.. it had been 2 and a half weeks in all my years before that.
An aside, the quarter system that DU uses is crazy to me. First quarter ended the week of Thanksgiving, second quarter didn't start until the Monday after New Years. Then there's only 1 week off from January to June. That 6 months was brutalComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
I guess that's pretty standard. I think most Freshman at my school are taking 15, or more, but one of the required classes for B-School students is for 1.5 credits and that throws it all off.
Your M/W/F is gonna be legit, not to mention Thursday nights.WUSTLComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
I found both pretty easy if you halfway tried. I do feel like college work gives you a little more freedom though. I enjoyed high school and I've enjoyed college so far. Even though I am a loner but, at a community college, that doesn't bother me a bit.
Edit: And as I believe I've said before, I still prefer classes at 8 or 9.
On the subject of early classes, my day started at 7:00 last year. It was nice being done early, but my sleep schedule was destroyed by the second half of the year, which led to me being essentially zombified. Get up at 6, get home at 2, sleep till 4 or 5, and then do whatever until 12 or so. Ideally, classes start later for me.Last edited by Whitesox; 08-05-2011, 02:00 AM.Comment
