We always started the week of my birthday and went to the first week of June. I remember Christmas break my Senior year was 8 days.. it had been 2 and a half weeks in all my years before that.

An aside, the quarter system that DU uses is crazy to me. First quarter ended the week of Thanksgiving, second quarter didn't start until the Monday after New Years. Then there's only 1 week off from January to June. That 6 months was brutal

Me too. Not a whole lot of work, lots of sport and hanging out with your friends. What's not to love?

I think a lot of people who hated school while they were going through it look back on high school as an adult and realise that they may never have it that good again.

Seeing your friends every day, having easy as hell classes, playing sports, and screwing around was well worth it.

I'd pay college tuition to go back to high school. Nothing after it will be near as fun.

Be grateful you had a good experience. Some of us did not. That's why I hated high school.

The work was easy, but the teasing/taunting was not.

College classes were easier to me. Course grades comprised solely of test scores? Hell yes. Fraternity test banks? Slam dunk.

College was a piece of cake. Didn't have to do anything until you needed to do something. Waking up at 1 for 2pm classes. Breaks, laptops, eye candy.

HS was a pain in the ***, despite the consistency of your days.
