I get a kick out of playing Pokemon Blue every few months too, but that's not necessarily "old" yet, especially primarily referring to the NES era.

Other games that break the time barrier?

Add GTA San Andreas. Once you get past the graphics being nowhere near as good as the PS3 it's still fun to play.

I liked the Tecmo Bowl on SNES and Genesis better than the NES version.

Ken Griffey Jr Presents Major League Baseball. You can play an entire game in like 15 minutes. Great game.

**** yeah Pole Position! I was ****ing terrible at that game, but damned if I didn't pump at least a dollar into that game every time I hit the arcade.

Daytona USA just came out for the Xbox and PS3. Thats a game that ate up my dollars at the arcade every week.

Never played any version of Mario Kart. Closest I ever got was some Nickelodeon racing game on Game Boy Advance SP.

Double Dragon was awesome though...I'm going to add in Streets of Rage, Super Hang On and WWF No Mercy.

360's are a joke as far as quality goes. I was one of the lucky ones...mine lasted from December of '06 to February of '11, but that didn't come without 20 million disc read errors/freezes. I'm so hoping I get a PS3 for Christmas.

Add NBA Action '95 and Super Mario Kart to the "Old, but still playable" list.

I had my Xbox RROD a couple times on me, but they must've done something right last time, because it's worked well for the past 2-3 or so years.

I find myself rarely using my PS3, whenever there's a game released for both platforms, it seems the 360 version is always superior. The PS3 has better exclusive's, but they're kind of few in number.

I played Madden 95 the other day and was shocked when a LB didn't smack the ball out of the air on a Hail Mary. Go figure.

I find myself rarely using my PS3, whenever there's a game released for both platforms, it seems the 360 version is always superior. The PS3 has better exclusive's, but they're kind of few in number.

I just can't get around the controller. If that wasn't the case i'd probably have both systems by now.

Resident Evil 2 is another game i could play for a few hours at a time.

Last gen(current, wtf ever) I only had the PS2, and was very used to the controller. When the new consoles came out I wanted to get a PS3, but it was way too damn expensive, and so I went with a 360. I actually love the controller now, I think it's much better than the playstation's design, just fit's the hand better, the stick's are in a better place, and the trigger's don't suck

There is an arcade bar here in Denver. They only have really old games, but it's so much fun to have a few beers and waste about $5 worth of quarters (games are only $.25 to play). Unfortunately it's packed solid on the weekends so I go pretty rarely
