Cant wait for tonight, I get to go to NC State's bowl game here in Charlotte. I convienced a UNC student to go with me and wear a NC State shirt. Now hopefully the team will play well.

Yup. About 7-8 years ago we got a Supercenter (one of the biggest on the East coast actually), and it's destroyed our mall. Now, inept mall management and a ridiculous amount of vacant stores doesn't help, but Walmart took away a ton of business.
Yeah they typically do where ever they go. Which is why the state I live in now is hell bent against allowing a Super Walmart here. It would destroy all the mom & pop stores and small independently family owned stores up here.

I remember when they came into Chicago, they destroyed WoolWorth, Venture, Zaires, Ames, TruValue and ton of small local movie and music stores.

LOL that was like my average customer when I worked at a Super Walmart in the midwest. Dads use to come into electronics with 2 cases of beer, some jeans, drill bit and say my son needs a game and they would check out back there in Electronics.

It was rampant that they had put 21 and over workers back there in electronics.

                  Wow.......marriage lasted only 18 days

Sinead O'Connor has ended her marriage to Barry Herridge after only 18 days. The singer announced the split on her website yesterday in a post explaining that "within three hours of the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behavior of certain people in my husband's life."Issues with her husband's family were only part of the problem, apparently. "[There was] a wild ride I took us on looking for a bit of a smoke of weed for my wedding night as I don't drink," she wrote. ...

Ugh, just got back from the eye exam. Anyone ever have their pupils dilated with eye drops during the exam? It's a couple hours later and they're still dilated, it messes you up a bit. The doc discovered "swollen optical nerves" and wanted to send me to a specialist but when I told him I don't have insurance and am on a tight budget he went with a 2 week checkup instead. It kinda felt like going to a mechanic and dude just starts coming up with random stuff wrong with your car, until you tell him you're broke and suddenly everything's ok.

Its amazing how much "free" stuff you can walk out of a doctor's office if you lay out the "no insurance" thing down.

I'm hoping that NC State fall flat on their face tonight. If that don't happen then a close game with a Louisville win will suffice.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

LOL.........that is why I despise all doctors and mechanics. They always seem to find something wrong with you for you can spend additional money and then tell you a doom and gloom story of what might happen if you don't.
