Yeah.......the thing you are doing is honorable and all....But he is paying child support not spousal support.

I would be mad too if I giving out all that money directly to you and you turn around and ask for even more money already. I would be wondering what the hell is going on here ?????

I am looking at it from a man's perspective. No man wants to see his money used to support his ex that is with another man. That is the bottom line.

You are living with your grandparents, so that is why he gave it directly to you. But it will work itself out.

This semester I'm working at a shelter on training dogs in basic behaviors, and I found a video of my favorite one that I feel the need to share:

Yeah I understand, but the money was then being used to pay for stuff that I specifically need or else if I got hurt i'd be screwed, couldn't drive, no phone, food, etc. It got all worked out once he knew what was going on with very little yelling so it's all good now.

Legally it might be fuzzy since i'm living with my grandparents for a few months, but my dad wasn't understanding the fact that my mom uses the money to pay auto insurance, health insurance, phone, give money to my grandparents since they buy extra groceries and junk,etc.

Apparently it's all good now and now said he'll continue to give me money in college so I won't have to work as much, so good news I suppose.

If all of the money goes to things/bills for you -> cool, you're abiding by the basic principle of child support.

If your mom is using it to "live", you're doing wrong. That money is for your guardian(s) to support you. Whether or not your mom's side has a difficult financial situation, that money is for you and only you.

Working with dogs is the best job ever. I also wish I could adopt some of the dogs from my work (actually quite a few of them are up for adoption)

So I was trimming up my sideburns and goatee.

Now I'm clean shaven. I'm gonna go get a haircut too. I figure I should try something new. Any (non-trolly) suggestions?

How long is your hair currently? The fauxhawk seems to be in, you could get some variation of that. Possibly done in a way that doesn't make you look like a poser.

It's quite long. Here's a picture of me (and my fiance) holding a friend's daughter (poor bastard had twins).

That would probly work. I used to have a problem with trying to get creative haircuts, they never worked out. I'm not afraid to admit that I currently cut my own hair (that smiley probably doesn't apply, but I don't think I've used it before)

Definitely, the only tricky part is trimming up the back. Remembering to do the opposite of what you see in the mirror can be trying.
