Ever heard of N.W.A.?
More or less though, agreed with the idea that you have to dig beyond stereotypes in music genres to find the good music.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
This.
I'm just saying, listen to people like Cudi, Talib Kweli, Common, etc....I understand their English perfectly fine and their lyrics actually mean something and aren't just random lines put together because they rhyme or lyrics about stereotypical things*
*I know I said the same thing about country, but country just annoys me.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
I'm not a huge fan or rap or country...hip hop is different. It's CHR vs. CHURBAN in the radio biz...or just URBAN.
I like Enimem. I like all music, but to reduce it to narrow generalizations is ridiculous that was sort of my point w/my comment.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
Wait a minute........who taught you that word ? You know you don't suppose to be having that kind of word in your vocabulary coming from New York.
You suppose to be ending your sentences with "son" And saying stuff is "bananas", telling people to "hold you down", and tell them to "kick rocks".
