Alright, so where I work at currently is located adjacent to the local mall; so its basically a stroll away. Anyway...

A missing Harrisonburg man who worked as a private investigator turned up dead in the trunk of his car on Sunday in the Valley Mall parking lot. Police are treating the death of Arthur Gregory Brown, 50, as a homicide, according to Mary-Hope Vass, spokeswoman for the Harrisonburg Police Department. Police believe Ali Abid of Weyers Cave was the last person "in contact" with Brown, who went by Greg. Police have not been able to locate Abid, 49...

So yeah, that was pretty weird to find out this morning when I got to work. Apparently he had been missing since Thursday. Ridiculous. I just watched The Maltese Falcon last night too.

Today sucks. Last night I was freezing in bed, and shivered and had what I'm calling a fever dream about Stacking. Yes, I'm a nerd, but this isn't the point. I woke up like a truck had hit me in the night. I'm sore as ****, I've got a pounding headache, and of course, my body temp keeps fluctuating wildly.

That reminds me that when I woke up this morning I had the greatest "thank god it was just a dream!" moment lol. I don't even remember the details but it involved hiding in a ditch from cops while my Dad unsuccessfully fled and was captured. I retreated to my old house (not sure why it was my old house and not my current one) where there was at least 25 children living and another 10 or so adults. It was bad, and my old HS science teacher saw me from the street and alerted the cops which is about when I woke up.

Bonus blather: this cold may be affecting my NBA 2k11 abilities. Without changing my sliders I've gone from 3-1 while healthy to 3-4 (and probably soon to be 3-5), all double digit losses, including the last 2 where I trailed by 30 or more points in each. I'm already down by 15 in the first quarter of the current game and I can't do anything right lol. Hopefully it's just the cold because I'm playing on Pro using sliders by mkharsh (I had previously commented that they might become too easy lol), so it's a little embarrassing.

I actually had the same thing last week. Weird dreams and all. I ended up going to the after hours clinic last Monday after work. I was running a temp. of 103 when I got there. They said that I had the flu but, couldn't specify if it was the regular flu or swine flu. They gave me a shot and some ibuprofen while there then wrote me a prescription for theraflu and some cough sizzurp. Then they told me to take the next two days off work because I was contagious. It was a crappy few days but, I'm filling better now
