UW-Fox Valley

It's a 2 year, then when I finish there it enables me to transfer to any other school in the UW system and take my last 2 years there. Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, any one I want.

My brother and I used to do that at my father's job. We always won the money. Its awesome having a 16 year old and 14 year old beating a bunch of 25+ year olds (pause) at bracketology.

Anybody else remember as a child in school we had nuclear fall out drills and we were told to high under our wooden desks in a ball with our hands covering our heads ? SMH

I remember we had those drills every month in school. Teacher would yell ok class nuclear fall out drill, everybody under your desks, get in a ball and cover your head with your hands.

I am still waiting for people to raid walmart stores and buy all the rolls of plastic and duct tape for they can tape up their windows and doors.

I remember people did that for Y2K.

How old are you? And I'm assuming that's a Midwest thing because we never did nothing like that over here. Just the usual Fire, Tornado Drills and the Bomb Threat Drill every once in a while.

Not a midwest thing unless I'm just too young to have experienced it (I'm 29). I know when my dad was a kid they had to do that kind of thing, but that was back in the 50's and people were building bomb shelters.

I've had teachers telling me lately that all our colleges in the state system will probably go private because of this, so it'll probably end up being the same situation either way.

That sucks, they're no fun. I remember going thorugh a whole box of kleenex in one day. I also remember one time when I went to my ear doctor and he checked up my nose and said I had a sinus infection and gave me a prescription though I felt perfectly fine. Next day I felt like complete crap.

We had earthquake, fire and lockdown (bomb/school shooting/suspicious people on the campus) drills up here. The earthquake drill sounds similar to GMS' nuclear drill without the ball lol.

Too bad the only time we had an earthquake, I was in the gym practicing for a school play. It knocked me off the stage.
