I give her three different options, the latter being the "new" shark-bite plumbing way.. compression fitting that slides over1/2 cpvc that's a shut off valve.. and has a 3/8 fitting coming off of it.. to hook a supply line to for the toilet...

I've been selling this **** for two years and never had a complaint..

I know that was some horrible grammar, but I had to type it in a hurry.. lol
I got so many people returning Sharkbite plumbing fittings when I worked at the depot. Some people just don't know what they are doing and should really have someone do it for them.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Yeah I felt bad for the baggers. At my store I was one of the few high school students who wasn't a bagger, and everyone in my department was 30 or over but I didn't have any issues with them. My store had a party for me when I left. It was a good job to have and I liked the management.

I remember giving my two weeks notice and the manager telling me that I was one of the only people that had ever given two weeks notice while he was working there.

                That shocked me.

Either way, I still shop at the Kroger that I was employed at. Granted, that was... 6 years ago at this point.

I would have told her to hire a plumber then. Plumbing and electrical is one of those things you should really leave to a professional before you cause more harm then good.

Kroger is the company behind a lot of chains, like Foods Co, Fred Meyer, etc.

I looked on their website and apparently Foods Co (the store I referenced earlier) is Kroger but just named differently.

Kind like Hardees and Carls JR I guess.

Oh ok, out of the list the only one I been to was Pay Less when I lived in Northwest Indiana. But growing up in Chicago, the only grocery stores we had was the following:

                                Jewel
                                Dominic's
                                Omni's
                                Aldi's

Now I am sure decadeds later they probably have more in Chicago now, but for me as a kid, Chicago was a very closed market.
