I'm just speechless. I'm not sure how I feel about this. Either it's the coolest thing I've ever seen or it's the grossest thing I've ever seen. Or it's the freakiest thing I've ever seen. Maybe all of the above.

Well, I just spoke with a recruiter from a large IT staffing firm that places developers in companies. If I were to get the position that he referenced me for, I'd be contract-to-hire for 3-6 months before getting hired on full-time. Something about all this just doesn't seem kosher to me. Don't get me wrong, I plan on applying and interviewing if they bring me in... but I don't know about the whole CTH and recruiting business.
Any thoughts?
Some jobs are like that. It probably will give some more experience if they keep you full-time.
Really, the complete disregard with which he handles though snakes is how this guys gonna go. You can't just punch the clock doing something that dangerous without consequences.
I thought Cobras were dangerous snake. How the heck do they not attack him?
My guess is they did the cleaning in the morning or otherwise cooled the enclosure so that the snakes, being cold-blooded, were to lethargic to attack.
