High school sucked. Waking up at 7 AM every day? Screw that.

Wait til you have kids. 7am is a massive sleep in.

Be grateful you had a good experience. Some of us did not. That's why I hated high school.

The work was easy, but the teasing/taunting was not.

Yeah I can understand that would have sucked. People who had to bully others to feel better about themselves have serious issues.

You could do all that, and much, much, MUCH more at college.

Yeah College is probably the best of all three. Other than not having much money and the debt you are racking up it really is a sweet lifestyle. College > high school > working for the most part.

Don't get me wrong I love my job and the money etc but man the sheer freedom you had back in the day was simply awesome.....

Why skip a class that you're paying for? I get it in high school, but you're paying to go to whatever college/university you're going to. Why would you want to waste money by skipping classes?

Meh I understand what you're saying and I agree, but it's an 8 am class on a friday in what is prolly my easiest class

It wasn't mean toward you in particular, just in general. I don't get skipping classes in college because you are paying to attend them.

Unless you have full-ride somehow (scholarship, rich family member, etc.).

Well often in college you can get everything you would from a class just by getting the notes and studying them yourselves so it's not that big of a deal. With that being said I always did better in classes I went to every time so probably not the best example.

It it imperative that I go to class. I can't look at stuff the night before a test and understand it. Also, I can study material only so much. If I don't understand it when it is presented/immediately after (the night of that class) then I'm probably not going to understand it.

Yeah I had classes like that, too. I guess I missed so much class in the spring for baseball that I always felt like I wasn't getting my money's worth. I always felt like I was going to miss something important on the day I wasn't going to be in class.

I don't wanna be "that guy" still going to school as an undergrad when I'm 25 and trying to make friends with kids that were still in middle school when I was a senior in high school. Even if I stay with the 2 year program I'm starting I'll still be the last one of my friends to graduate.

Missed this post before and this might be a bit harsh but seriously man who gives a ****. Go to college, get your creditials, make bank, win.

Who cares what others think, you are bettering yourself and most likely improving the rest of your life by doing it. Why would you let the opinion of others dictate your life especially when you will probably not even know the vast majority of those people 10 years from now?

Spent 5 hours studying in the library for psych test tomm, yeah idk how well it worked out cause I was studying with this hot chick i've been trying to get with lol

Unless it's a test on specific psychologists and their theories.. psychology is just common sense so it shouldn't be too bad

I feel like I have a slight case of JJ-itus. I get way to caught up in thinking about how others will "judge" me before my every move. The ironic thing is I am the same person that sits here and tells them not to care about it because once we all hit college, we'll all be strangers.

Matrix and Jonesy do a good job of explaining it and why you shouldn't care though.

I went 10 days straight without taking my contacts out. Whenever I finally did decide to I never thought they'd come off. Thank God I no longer need any glasses or contacts anymore.
