After talking to a few dog breeders on the phone I fell like these people are nothing but puppy pimps. I don't care about champion bloodlines, show dog, or hunting dog. I just want a puppy in beagle, rottweiler, or German Shepard.

Because they are pimps. Some of them take it way too serious and be trying to tell you the dog's genetic dna make up.

All a person needs to know is if it a pure breed or a mut.

I'll probably end up going that route but I'd like to get a full dog I guess it's called AKC purebred. My folks had full Rottweilers and they were the best dogs and no health problems except for old age.

I am going to tell you one thing I have discovered... for some reason, animals at the rescue/pound just KNOW they are being rescued. It is literally like a prison to them.

And every person I have met, as well as myself, had the best dogs in the world from there. The animal just knows you rescued it, and for some reason are extra above and beyond appreciative all their life. It is a remarkable thing honestly.

I was able to get purebred Rotties at them if you look around.

I've had pound puppies all my life and have never had health problems with them. My first dog died when he was 14, my next one when he was 13. I also currently have a dog from a puppy rescue and she's been great so far. She's only 2 and aside from throwing up occasionally, she's been fine health-wise too.

Breeding houses are terrible in the way they breed their dogs. Often times their "rejects" end up at pounds or at a rescue.

That's hilarious. If you've ever coached youth/HS, you would know that you don't do it for the paycheck. You get paid like ****, and often treated like ****.

I know, I was kidding. Didn't really have a comeback for that one. My dad used to run the youth soccer system in my town, I know how much **** they take from parents and all of that...and yeah, I don't think there was much money involved at all.

But still. No one really gives a **** about girls lacrosse, or field hockey, or basketball...or really any girls sport that doesn't involve skimpy outfits, odd body positions, or screaming and yelling.
