Worst consequence of the Red Sox collapse: local sports radio will be inundated with nut jobs calling for the heads of the whole team and every decision Francona made will be over analyzed, meanwhile the Pats will get basically ignored up until Sunday.

Too bad radio isn't a private forum like OS where callers can be banned for being immature and having stupid opinions and making dumb comments. The world would be such a better place.

I dunno, I kinda like crazy things like that (at least for a day) that scenario sounds a lot like Leafs callers on the FAN here.

The only reason I follow baseball anymore is for fantasy baseball. I used to love the game as a kid but not any more. It's unwatchable unless I'm at a game. Football, hockey, soccer, and college basketball have shoved baseball to a distant 5th.
