Calc professor wants to graph the equation of x = (y-2)^2. Draws out a graph, and then starts to think it's wrong. So instead of looking up the graph, or having someone else in the class do it, he instead gets rid of the equation and tries to find a new one for the graph he drew. We spend 15 minutes graphing random equations to try to find the equation to this graph he drew on the board. Eventually class ends and we have to give up on the problem.
And better yet, this was as part of a review for our test tomorrow...Comment

Calc professor wants to graph the equation of x = (y-2)^2. Draws out a graph, and then starts to think it's wrong. So instead of looking up the graph, or having someone else in the class do it, he instead gets rid of the equation and tries to find a new one for the graph he drew. We spend 15 minutes graphing random equations to try to find the equation to this graph he drew on the board. Eventually class ends and we have to give up on the problem.

Don't even get me started on calc. My professor has an awful lisp and before last exam gave us a practice exam he said the exam would be just like. Well, the exam was similar, but A LOT harder. The class average was 70, probably the first grade below an A ever for about 80% of the people in the class.Comment
