Wowser........I guess it is because it is way more tech savy people on the west coast compared to the midwest and northeast. A techie can make a killing in the northeast and midwest.

Hell it is a factory up here that was just hiring for that position 3 weeks ago and their starting salary they offered was $45,000 a year.
I know big companies will pay like that but this job was a local business. I was asked why I was pursuing my BS and where I saw myself in 5-10 years I said I'd like to be a Network Admin.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

That whole "where do you see yourself in five years" is such ****ing bull****. Like anyone can tell the future. I see myself inside Adriana Lima in five years. Doesn't mean it's gonna happen.

That question needs to be abolished from job interviews. Absolutely stupid.

The best one I have is still the fact I don't know how to keep professional distance. Because I'm going to be a pastor. Can I sue for that?

It costs a lot of money to go out and hire someone. This just gives them a feel as to how fast you're going to start looking for a new gig. They won't hold it against you if another better opportunity comes along, but this question can at least weed out the ones that are clearly not interested in staying in the area or in the position. I don't blame companies at all for asking this.

Just craft a bull**** answer that you use every time that won't make them think you're going to screw them a couple months down the road. Problem solved. Or if you genuinely want the job and are settling down in the area, be honest.

Yeah obviously don't tell them how you really feel. Just tell them what they want to hear. You get hired, then you do what you always intended to do, which was leave for a much better job when the opportunity comes along.

What does it mean when my wireless printer thinks there is no ink in it, except there is?

It means your printer is starting to die.

Yeah, it's just unnecessary because everyone bull****s so why bother even asking. Shave the interview excess. If I was interviewing someone and they told me "Frankly, this is a dumb *** question because obviously if a better situation comes along, I'd take that position. Until then, yeah I, I don't see any reason why there would be any impediment in fulfilling these duties.", I'd hire them instantly. Honesty and bluntness is an admirable quality.

EDIT: Or if they say "Do you ****ing think I'm Doc Brown or something?"

                                State Farm wanted 298$
All State wanted 260 w/ a $500 deposit to get the account rolling

I couldn't believe how big of a gap there was. I called all of them back to double check that they told me the right thing.
                                Is that monthly?
