I disabled all of my add-ons, and it still didn't work. Eh, I rarely use it, but it's one of those things that just baffles me.

Mine will be interesting to say the least.

I have nothing on Monday or Friday, so another semester of 4 day weekends, wahoo!

On Tuesday I have:
Federal Courts & Jurisdiction from 10:45-12
Then from 12:15-4:30 an internship

Wednesday
8:45-10:35 Internship class
11-4:30 Internship
6-8pm Representing Children

Thursday
8:45-10:35: Legal Skills Seminar
10:45-12 Federal Courts & Jurisdiction
12:15-4:30 Internship
5:20-7:50 Appellate Advocacy
8-9:50 Law & Education

So Thursday will suck ***, but 4 day weekend and only 2 exams!

Sort of in college, my semester will consist of 6 classes this semester for 16 credits including:

Law & Education
Representing Children
Federal Courts & Jurisdiction
Appellate Advocacy
Legal Skills Seminar
Judicial Externship in the Hamden County Juvenile Court

One class left to go!

I just absolutely nailed an oral argument after a disastrous oral argument last week. Maybe not the best idea to do an Appellate argument without notes, but it worked for me.

Right, they didn't wait for a fight, but they don't have to in all cases. Cases from "Tinker v. Des Moines" through "Hazelwood" have established that schools can restrict speech if it causes a substantial disruption or if they believe there is a likelihood that the speech will cause a substantial disruption.

So in the inevitable lawsuit, the question will boil down to whether or not a substantial disruption was reasonably foreseeable. If I'm an appellate judge or Supreme Court Justice (this case will get appealed and might even reach the Supreme Court), I'm looking into whether or not there have been past substantial disruptions. If there have been, that it was reasonably foreseeable and the school could restrict the expression (the t-shirts). If there were no past substantial disruptions, than simply believing they might occur in the future is not enough, and the students' First Amendment rights were unconstitutionally violated.

There is no Court more worthless for Americans than the 9th Circuit Federal Appellate Court. They have so many bad, mind numbing stupid decisions and now this when there was already precedent from DC, meaning they should have known when this hits SCOTUS it will go the way it went in DC. To me however that was the lesser of the two evils, how can that man be sentenced to 51 months for what he did? (Rhetorical question, I know how and I hate mandatory minimum sentences).

Dookie quoted posts mentioning the word appellate twice, but I didn't count that. That's all just from the Neighhborhood btw.

Just like to say a few things.......

1. It's Friday !!!!!!

2. It is cold as hell, just 20 degrees.

3. When did it become the norm to go grocery shopping in pajamas ?

4. Anybody see Shaq's girlfriend carry him on Jimmy Kimmel ? That is one strong chick.

5. Who knew Staples batteries are cheaper then most other places ?

6. Anybody else notice nowadays when you see a couple together shopping or walking some where, the chick is either talking or looking around, taking life seriously, where as the guy has head down as he browse or play games on his smart phone, not really paying attention to a word she is saying or doing.

Everywhere I went to today I kept seeing that over and over again.

7. Seen this old couple, had to be in their 70s or upper 60s buy 8 bottles of wine today. Literally that is all they had in their shopping cart.

2. It's cold here as well though not as cold as there it's 34 F currently. They're calling for light snow.

3. I don't think i've seen that much here but I know my cousin in NYC sometimes went to her university classes in her pajamas!

4. I was too busy watching an NFL game played in '79.

5. The only batteries I use are the ones for my hearing aids. I use Energizer. They have a pretty good shelf life.

6. I suppose the GFs tell their BFs that they can do that so long as they go shopping with them. It's better than going and having to answer questions like "Do I look fat in these?"

7. Reminds me of an old guy must be in his early 60s at the LCBO. He literally bought 8 cases of beer and he was already walking around drunk as a skunk.

What should I buy today? Arkham City or Saints Row The 3rd?

Man, I've been sick for the past week and a half. Got my shift covered last night for some more recovery time, but I'm heading in in about an hour for a 10 hour shift. Holidays, I need the money.

But damn if some good tunes aren't giving me a boost this morning. I live and breathe music, I tell ya.

I know you're a Batman fan, so you'd probably get a lot of kicks out of some of the things they throw at you during the game.

SR3 is fun as hell, though. Both are top 5 for me this year.
