My friend told me this story on the phone while he was Sonic's at River Oaks Mall in IL. It was 2 guys and 1 girl in the car. Guy that was driving ordered food for all 3 people.

He hands his pre-paid Visa card to the Sonic person, card was declined. Guy pulls out his cell phone and said I am going to call customer service and ask them why my money isn't on my card.

Mean while he is eating the food while he is pretending his talking to customer service. After he eats half the burger he gives the food back to the Sonic employee and said nope there is no money on there and drives off.

Just wow.........

So this economic satire project... I'm pretty much BS'ing most of it. I have done nearly zero research on it and am just typing off the top of my head. I almost want to post the "finished" version on here when I am done so you all can see how terrible a write I am, and how much BS went into my work, but I am still unsure if I should or not.

The thing is, I've went with a really subtle tone of sarcasm, so it's almost like it's a serious article about the government, the economy, and the whole situation we've been in the last few years, but I've left subtle hints in there that I think my teacher will catch and find a bit humorous. I think that's the best way to attack this project.

Dude, just write a serious paper about a ridiculous thesis. Like "If we outsourced our cows to China, the price of hamburger would go up, thus helping American farmers."

I believe trance is a more hypnotic type of techno/house music, but I'm just theorizing because I don't listen to it myself.

Anyway, Amazon is 0/2 on my last two orders. First, Seven Samurai doesn't come despite the tracking information saying it was delivered to the front door on Thursday. I receive Alien and the boxset looks like it came from a brick & mortar store; boxset has a nice big dent on it which made getting the movies out a pain. There was also a RFID tag and a product item tag that looked similar to Circuit City's. When I took the information sheet off the back, there was a nice big X of where glue had been and slightly ripped off the top layer of the boxset despite the glue on the actual sheet being that nice, non-sticky stuff in a small glob in the center. Whatever. When the "final showdown" comes down, it ****ing skips, stutters and freeze. Luckily I was able to maneuver into the theatrical version and finish it, but damn. I'm going to try and watch Aliens, but I've already submitted a replacement return on my order for Alien. Amazon is making me wait until Wednesday to "confirm" that I did not receive Seven Samurai. Bummer, Amazon.

Meanwhile, an order I received yesterday from Fat Possum shipped me the wrong item. I alert customer service and they're sending me the correct item on Monday and allowing me to keep the item they shipped me. I also got an order today from Bloodshot which included free goodies like stickers, a sampler cd, and one of the best calendars I've ever held.

I do live 1 block up from Christmas tree lane but we have the "small house in the big neighborhood" thing going on.

I'm 11-2, I just won the ACC, and I beat Virginia Tech in the regular season. However, I am ranked #3, Virginia Tech is ranked #1 and headed to the BCS Title game. Guess who they play?!?! 8-4 Auburn!!!! Two teams, that were 3rd and 4th in their conferences are playing in the BCS Title game.

Holy hell EA, your polling logic is screwed up the ***.
