Looking at the calendar I realize it's the 70 year anniversary of Pearl Harbor, damn almost 75 years since the start of WWII for the US, how time flies. I went to Pearl with my WWII vet grandpa and his brother, seeing them somber and my grandpa crying for lost friends, still gets me a little to this day and it's been 24 years since that.

I really want to go to Pearl Harbor. My grandfather was on a Naval sub in the Pacific for 3 years (there was actually a book written about the sub he was on) and I was always mesmerized by his stories when I was younger.

Fun fact: My mom's father was in the Nazi army and was captured at Stalingrad, while my mom's mother was in a concentration camp. I wish I had written my college thesis on my 2 grandfathers rather than the Cold War.

I hate when people find a reason to be mad and hate for no reason. No I'm not saying I have haters, but I do have one, who just won't let his anger go.

If none of you know, I make music and about 3 years ago I used to make beats with this kid from my hometown. He also rapped and had a myspace page for his rap persona. Me and him also had one together for our production team. Long story short I moved away for school, and switched the myspace over to my name, seeing he already had one. I received about 5 hate mails after that, pissed that i took down our myspace, saying he made me, im a "swagger jacker" etc.

Well, 3 years later, it was just brought to my attention that he is still running his mouth about me, this time on twitter. For nothing specific but just like anything he can think of to get mad at, he does. For instance my middle name is Lee, which is short for Leonard. So i changed my production name to King Leo. Just thought it was catchy.

So, one of my friends told me (Because this kid follows me and all my friends, but we don't follow him) he looked to see who he was, and saw the tweets and brought them to my attention. Saying who the hell is leo, you were born in may, your a clown, i made you, youre not a king, blah blah blah.

Basically, it's really sad, and clearly he wants a response, which I refuse to give him, but needed to vent about how ridiculous it is that this kid is still hanging on to something irrelevant that happened 3 years ago, to fuel his life. Oh well. If it really bothers him that much, I'll pray for him.

I still have people hating on me because I chose to go to junior high and high school outside of my neighborhood to better myself. And that was over 20 years ago.

And then I have friends from high school and college that are hating me because I left Chicago over a decade ago. Unlike them, I never had a desire to stay in the same city, same neighborhood I grew up in for the rest of my life.

Hell, I even had people hating on me when I was a child because I grew up with both of my biological parents, go figure.

Got As and Bs in school......I'm going to hate on you.

Graduate high school.......I'm going to hate on you.

You 18 and don't have a child.....I'm going to hate on you.

You going to the military.......I'm going to hate on you.

You graduating from college with a Bachelor Degree.....I'm going to hate on you.

You buying your first house in your early 20s, I'm going to hate on you.

Even now........in my 30s, I have people hating on me because I don't have baby mama drama like them.

Going to always have haters. Just keep on keeping on.

Like I said, I haven't spoke to him in those 3 years since. Personally, I was just worried about making myself better. I never saw him as my competition, and still don't.

OH yeah, I see we were discussing pissing stories recently in the OT... got one of my own, and it even combines another good old OS OT element... SPIDERS!

Went to take a piss tonight, a little drunk I guess, and while in the act I notice something on my hoodie. Sure enough, a ****ing spider/death machine.

It was about nickel size, but it wasn't all scary looking. Kind of translucent, seemingly harmless. Maybe because I was a little buzzed or I dunno, maybe I'm not as scared of spiders as I think I am, I just flick it off casually, as I'm doing my biz. Unsuccessful. Which is terrible... first rule of thumb, get that mofo dead in 1 clean attempt.

So I'm down in the game. I reside to waiting to finish taking this leak and then deal with this spider infestation. Alright, zip, flush, even a quick rinse of the hands (don't want the spider to get all germed up when I crush him). But lo and behold, the bastard has crawled into my hoodie pocket. Obviously a time for panic and loud, unmanly screams of terror. Nope, not this guy. I just walk outta that bitch, up to the kitchen and alert my friends that there is in fact a live spider in my pocket. I ask their advice. Overwhelming majority is RUN BITCH IT"S GON KILL YOU!!!! Otherwise known as, take the hoodie off, idiot.

I do. And proceed to stomp my pockets out. I debated burning the hoodie, it's kind of short anyway, but it's something to bum around in so I elected to just quarantine it downstairs.

Yeah you should have that's some crazy family history, best I got is one grandfather was a B-17 belly gunner and my grandpa that took me to Pearl saw the attack starting as he was one his was to Mass that morning.

I have no time for people like that in my life. I toss 'em aside and keep moving forward, they can kiss my butt as I leave them behind. While this is the kind version, I just look at it this way. The more success I have in what I do just increases the size of the middle fingers I'm flipping to all the people who doubt me and said/say I'll never amount to anything.
