This is what I'll say. Why not do something new? I hate change, and lately I've just forced myself to do it. I've worked at the same Best Buy for 3 years and I've wanted to move to another store forever because my store is pretty awful. But I couldn't ever get myself to do it because it would mean change. But now, I finally did and it was the best decision ever. Change is good, especially since there are very few negatives to your new job, and you plan to do bigger things eventually anyways. If I were you, I'd take the new job.

Not a big Monster guy. Not a big energy drink. Caffeine and **** has never really had an effect on me in the first place. I feel guilty enough when I drink soda.

First off, what's the difference in pay rate, commute to work, etc (I'm sure you listed it somewhere in the last few pages but I forget). It sounds like they're pretty close if your decision is tough.

That's why I'm saying, if the difference is nearly negligible, stick with what you know is working. I've seen many people go to new jobs because they were seemingly better, only to return or not be able to return when the new job doesn't work out as planned.

Seriously, even though you think you have a knowledge of the new job offer, you don't know what it's like until you start working there. I know you seem to really like your job (Home Depot, right?), going as far as to arrange a Christmas party... if the money isn't that much better, I say don't give up that.

Meh, I see better tacos on back of trucks while walking the streets of Chicago

On a serious note, huzzah to you for not adding american toppings. (Cilantro, Onions and Salsa is all a taco needs)

Admittedly I had one of those on Saturday, first one in a very long time. It was fantastic.

I work in an area known for the hispanic population. Smack dab in the middle of california. Ag country. 4 of my 5 chefs are hispanic, I'd be laughed out of town if I didn't serve authentic.

That is true. I just got a kick out of it. He starts steering like he wants to avoid people, and then just goes, "**** it, I'm out."
