The thing is that the vast majority of people who think they've met their "soulmate", or whatever in their late teens/earlier twenty's have no clue. I mean, how many times has someone looked back, say even just a few years at a past relationship and thought "what the hell was I thinking?", let alone when comes to something like marriage. They're naive and think that their love is somehow unique and special, and they'll be together forever and ever.
People can be as fickel as it gets, one day your enamored over something, the next day it bores you to tears, and you want nothing to do with it. The same applies to "soulmates".
