Hello Operation Sports I'm a newbie here and this is my first response.

I live in New York City and currently the gas is anywhere from $3.76 to $3.92 for regular depending on where you go for gas.

Just put gas in my car... $3.04/gal.

If it drops below $3... I may cry.

                      People don't realize it's a combo of 3 factors.

NJ has a low gas tax
                      NJ has it's own refineries

With full service, it keeps insurance costs down on gas stations thus keeping the price down.

Hell I remember being a kid and seeing my step dad fill up at .79 , yes that's .79, and listening to my dad talk about how low it was in his day is mindboggling

Drove back from FL with my wife and son yesterday and saw some interesting prices. Saw a price of 3.04 in South Carolina right before hitting North Carolina, so I took advantage and filled up the tank before crossing the border, where the price jumped up to 3.29. Right now the cheapest gas by my pad is 3.33.

Pmoney you must be down in Central/South Jersey.

I'm in North Eastern NJ, but it is still low here as compared to national average.

                              Just saw for $3.24 yesterday.
