I work at a convenience store in North Carolina and were at 3.29 the last time I worked. One of our other stores in Greenville was at 3.15 the other day but jumped up to 3.25, I think. They were losing close to 12 cents on a gallon, but the gas station across the street was at 3.17, if I'm not mistaken.
I think that's something not a lot of people know about the gas station/C-store industry: we USUALLY make a few cents on a gallon (we KILLED last fiscal year, but that was an anomaly), but there are times when we take a loss just to make sure people still stop at our store. If everyone around us is at 3.15, but we are buying gas for 3.25, you better believe we'll be down to a competitive price to make sure people are still coming to store, even if it means losing money. We hate it--especially in my company because our quarterly bonuses are based heavily on profitability of the store--but we need people to come in the store, so we do it.

$2.95 today at a Bucee's. Chevron across the street is also $2.95.
If you get the supreme car wash at Bucee's, they knock of $0.20 per gallon (but it's a $12 car wash, so at 20 gallons, it is still an $8 car wash).
There is a Citgo down the street that has a cash only price of $2.87, but it's $3.02 with a credit card.Comment

3.25 for the Milwaukee area, not bad at all with reformulated gas.
European market is on the skids, waiting for more news today and Friday. Just read an article in the Milw. Journal that gas prices will continue to fall throughout the summer.
