Re: OS Cars Thread
The one issue I'm seeing is that the the 3rd and 2nd row folding down, they have a gap in between the rows still. Not sure if the Infiniti is the same way, just something I've come across in alot of models so far.Aaron

Re: OS Cars Thread
I actually ended up spending my afternoon, unintentionally, in the Hyundai Veracruz and Santa Fe. Went to the Toyota dealership, sales guy was a robot and stayed maybe 5 minutes, then I noticed that Hyundai was just a few minutes up from where I was so I dropped by. Veracruz is a brand new model for them so its top of their list apparently.
Both drove extremely well and ran pretty quiet. Got to drive a ton since the sales person was brand new and she wanted to spend a little time to get more familiar with both models.
I actually like the controls up front on the Santa Fe over the Veracruz, the one thing inside that the Veracruz has that the Santa Fe doesnt is that the 2nd row has controls for their air.
Veracruz was running around $38,000 with its optionsAaron

$38,000 isn't bad. Just to compare. My EX which had almost all of the options available came in around 45,000.Comment

Nice.. I have yet to see a Veracruz in person, but a buddy of mine has the new Santa Fe and he raves about. I really am more impressed by Hyundai by the day. They want to be one of the big boys and they are bringing it lately.

Seems like some reviews have an issue with ride noise but it felt fine to me, might be from years of trucks.
I did notice city mpg is somewhat lower than said to be, reset the trip info before leaving the lot and it stayed at 15/16 the entire time even while in "Eco mode"Last edited by av7; 06-19-2011, 02:02 AM.Aaron

That being said, when it comes time for me to buy my next car I think I am going AUDI. Something about the new AUDIs really intrigue me.Comment

Re: OS Cars Thread
I beg to differ there... for the money, Acura gives you the most bang for the buck. There is no optional equipment to suck additional funds out of your wallet. To get an Infiniti or BMW with the same bells and whistles that come standard on an Acura, you would be paying around 10 thousand more.

I drove the Audi's. They are very nice. Problem is the dealer was rude to my wife and she's vowed to never ever buy an Audi. So the odds of my ever getting an Audi are basically nil.Comment

Re: OS Cars Thread
Even though I'm a homer nothing has come close to my Infiniti. I mean the first time I got in one (a friend's), I felt an immediate difference.
I just love my car.
I have not driven an Audi but I've driven nearly everything else within reason. The newer model Audi's look very, very nice.
I did not like the Acura I drove.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Re: OS Cars Thread
You guys are making me happy because I just heard Infiniti will be finally selling in Australia in 2012 which is about when I'd be due for my next car.
According to the article it said that if Infiniti sold well here then it would probably open the way for Honda to bring Acura here as well.
If we want a luxury car here now's its basically BMW, Merc, Audi or Lexus so more options is a good thing.Comment
