Re: OS Cars Thread
But if you piss me off on a website and post a pic of you and your vehicle with plates showing....I'll show you why!
I might be able to find the car enthusiast website where something like this happened.
The guy was pure *** raped.

OS Cars Thread
My Wife has narrowed her list down to the Highlander, Explorer or Grand Cherokee.
If we have any owners, please share your experiences. Doesn't have to be the latest model either. It's tough because there are features from each that are great, but not one that has the "total package."Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. I test drove the Explorer but stayed away from it because Ford My Touch tends to be very buggy. I went with the Durango instead.
Good luck!Last edited by nemesis04; 12-09-2013, 12:34 AM.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: OS Cars Thread
My wife has the 2014 Grand Cherokee limited. This will be her 5th Jeep, she really enjoys them and we have not had any problems with any of them. The only annoying thing with the new model is they put in a econo button that is always on when you start the car. You have to turn it off every time you start up because it has no memory and cannot be kept off permanently. You will want it off because it makes the car feel sluggish because it up shifts through the gears quickly but is slow to downshift because it wants to keep the vehicle cruising to maximize fuel economy. Having it off does not hurt fuel economy and puts the transmission back to normal operation.

Is it that noticeable when driving to have it on?
I was looking at the new Wrangler Unlimited(online) and was wondering if they also have the econo button?

Re: OS Cars Thread
It is very noticeable, it is like driving two different cars. On the model before you could disable it in your settings but unfortunately now it has to be turned off every time you start the car. I really wish they would do a software update to give the option. After a while though it becomes habit like adjusting climate controls or the radio etc.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

We ended up getting the Pathfinder. Love the technology in this thing!

You did well. We bought a Rogue a couple years ago and love it. Haven't had any problems with it. This was our first Nissan and very pleased with it. Our only issue was we might need a bigger car in the future so the Pathfinder is a possibility...

We have a Rogue as well and we love it. I'm 6'5 and the Rogue fits me well. Very versatile, but with a family soon to come, we wanted a little more room.Originally posted by J. Re: OS Cars Thread
Bump.
I'm starting to save up/start looking at another vehicle. My car is turning hitting that decade mark next year and while its still holding up (I would love to hold onto it for a beat-up, city ride) it just feels worn and old to me. This is made even more noticeable when riding in other vehicles.
Anyway, I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for any "fun" cars that I could grab for 25-28k "out the door" for new or used. I've looked into a couple as far as research, but that's about as far as I've gotten.
