    Re: OS Cars Thread

I'm starting to get new car fever myself. I love my FX35 and still think it's one of the best looking vehicles out there, but I'm kind of ready to switch it up. My wife really likes the BMW X5's and I love the Range Rover Evoque's. I'm a few months away from making a real decision, but those two are the front runners.

We're also looking at replacing our second vehicle. My wife and I work together, so we commute together 90% of the time. The only time we really don't ride together is if one of us has a doctor or dentist appointment or something like that. Outside of that we only use our second vehicle for doing stuff like taking the dogs to the vet, or picking up plants/mulch from the nursery. Right now I still have my car when we met a 2005 Jeep Cherokee with about 99k miles. I'd probably get another Cherokee or a similar sized SUV in it's place, but since we would drive it so rarely I don't need anything too new. Maybe I can discount if I get both at the same time.

The Range Rover Evoque look just like the newer Jeeps.

You have a '13? Nice man. Best looking model out there IMO, even over the new '15's. Pics?

I usually search AmericanMuscle.com first but only buy from them about 50% of the time. Either they don't have what I'm looking for or I can find the same thing cheaper on Ebay or something. Great site though.

EDIT: Nevermind on the pics. I remember someone posting a pic a few pages back of a '13 Mustang and it is you lol. Sweet lookin ride.

I'm a Jeep fan. I love the old CJ5 and CJ6 Jeeps.. not a big fan of anything beyond that, but I did have a thing for the Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. My former boss's wife drove one and it was sexy.

Thanks man i appreciate it, its definitely my work in progress haha. Im personally not a fan of the new Mustangs, my model is my favorite. And American Muscle is pretty nice but there are a few things where i go to Cj pony parts, or late model. Have you done any interior mods or amything man?

Bought my first Jeep in July of last year. I don't think I could go back to a "normal" vehicle again. I have owned high end sports cars and muscle cars and I tell you I love my Jeep.

Of course we just moved to the country and my driveway alone is a mile of dirt so that might have something to do with it. But I love the functionality and they are way more comfortable than I ever thought they were. I must admit I have gotten addicted to trying to get it stuck. Haven't so far but I have had a lot of fun trying and made some really good friends. Nothing beats taking the top off, the doors off and a warm summer day.

I had Jeep on my list when searching because I just love the look of them, but I've read in numerous places and my brother had first hand experience on how many issues they can have if you get a dud. And it's likely you get a dud from what it sounds like.

Well so far everything is all good for me. I'm happy with it. My Kia on the other hand was a big a$$ headache. Had to fix something almost every week.

And my cousin has had a Wrangler Unlimited for almost 3 years and she hasn't had any problems whatsoever.

I had a KK when I was in Alaska and I loved it. I traded it in due to gas mileage and car payment.

I bought a '15 Colorado over the weekend! Looks odd because it's covered in rain.

My Wrangler has been great, no issues what so ever. Mine is the Unlimited as well and it is honestly one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. We just got over 18 inches of snow it did not even blink.

Mine is the new 2014 engine. While the gas mileage isn't what I would call amazing it is a lot better than it used to be. I get almost 20 mpg on the highway and I am averaging about 18 mpg driving in town. I have a 22 gallon tank so I am consistently getting over 400 miles out of a tank of gas. Not great I know but I am happy with it.

We decided to buy the wife a new(er) ride. She had an older Pontiac GP that had a ton of issues, and we sold it. We are looking for something less than 8k, but no more than 10. We have another boy on the way(3 kids total) and she would like something with 3 rows preferably, but nothing bigger than a Tahoe. No Suburbans, Cargo Vans, etc. Haha.

Any ideas for midsize SUVs or sporty Crossovers within my price range?
ABSOLUTELY NO MINIVANS!! Lol. But otherwise I'm open to ideas.

I made the mistake of stopping at our local GM dealership and looking at a 14 Acadia with her. It was everything she wanted, fully loaded, and just under $50grand!! (sticker price, it was a Sunday) Nowhere close to what kind of note I can float. Lol

                                What do you guys think?
