I'm deploying in October and when I get back I'm gonna need a new vehicle. My current vehicle is a 2 door 05 Chevy Blazer. I like it but its not a family car. I like Suv's. I was looking into getting a crossover. One that struck me was the Chevy Equinox. I wanna find an 08/09 model vehicle. Anyone have any suggestions or opinions on a family small suv or crossover?

Re: OS Cars Thread
What do you guys think of the Chevy Cruze? The Mustang is still my dream (relatively) affordable car (dream car would probably be a Porche 911), but I'm not exactly going to be flush with money once I graduate from college in a couple years, so even the Mustang (even a used one) might be a bit expensive.
I've been looking over the Cruze lately and it looks pretty nice. The six-speed manual looks cool. The Eco version gets 42 MPG and, if a car isn't a muscle car, then I'd prefer to get the best fuel mileage I can.
The Mazda3 looks pretty nice, as well.Last edited by superjames1992; 08-04-2012, 03:26 AM.Comment

Re: OS Cars Thread
Go with the Mazda, I just got one in January and love it. You can probably find one that's 2-3 years old with fairly low mileage for a good price, and it'll probably have some nice features as well (ie. not base model).
Any questions, feel free to ask.Comment

Re: OS Cars Thread
Well, i might be selling my Chevelle guys.. I'm paying 250 a month for it and it just sits in the garage. My girlfriends neighbor offered 22 thousand for it but it's worth about 27. If i could get 25 or 26 i'd be happy. Right now im looking at a 06 GTO, 05/06 Corvette, or 2011 SRT8 Challenger. I'm leaning towards the Corvette because they maintain their value and later on when i get a job and i want another badass muscle cat i could sell it and buy another Chevelle or a 69 GTO. But then again Pontiac only made 40 thousand total GTO's from 04-06 and their value could increase. Any idea's?Ducks, Mariners, Blazers, Lillard, Favre, Iverson, Griffey, Hernandez, Hawks, Wilson,
My Mariners dynasty!

Re: OS Cars Thread
Just traded in my 2005 WRX sedan for the 2012 STI hatch in Dark Mettalic Gray.
Wow, the difference is significant, and the hatch with the new baby makes it much more practical. Plus the color going from rally blue to gray makes it more "mature"
I convinced the wife that this was a more "family" car and "kinda like a station wagon". Then she sat in it and I turned it on, the SPT exhaust rumbled, and she gave me the death stare.

Re: OS Cars Thread
was thinking about getting this
I know nothing about Hyundai or the Tiburon. My prelude is dying a slow death so I need a new car. This is just some random pick I got off the internet. Just wanted any opinions on it.Comment
