Johnny Five: How do I feel? I feel... ALIVE!

First game I ever played on my NES

Loved the show as a kid

That song has stuck in my head from the day I first heard it. The first Care Bears Movie is also the very first movie theatre experience in my life. I still remember before the movie there was a huge curtain in front of the screen. You don't get something classy like that these days!

Pokemon Yellow bothered me. Who wants to start out with a damn Pikachu? Oh good, it knows Thundershock, that'll help me defeat Brock and his rock types. I always ended up throwing that thing in a box like a third of the way through the game.

I'm surprised you were able to remember that. I sure as hell didn't. Pokemon memories are now flashing before my eyes.

Gold and Silver were definitely super-awesome, but I think I remember enjoying Yellow more.

                Garbage Pail Kids

I had tons of them in a notebook. Then the notebook suddenly disappeared and my mom lied right to my face about throwing them away.

Navarone Mountain, Electric Football, and a Commodore 64 computer with Micro League baseball was all a kid needed back in the day. If I could have all the time back I spent playing those 3 things, I wouldn't take it. Best memories. In fact, when I die, I hope I turn back to 9 years old and these things are waiting for me at the pearly gates.

Pokemon was a bit later into my video game life, but Red and Blue were the ones I played (I had Red, and my brother had blue). Not that we ever really did much connected stuff - pretty much just played our own games.

Ah, that good old gray monochrome brick....they just don't make video game stuff that durable anymore.

I agree, Though I had 4 I always preferred SC3K Unlimited. I remember when I was in middle school though and me and my friends would always be playing the oridinal Sim City (and Sim Earth) on the computer in one of the classrooms.

My cousins and I spent hours trying to beat that game. There was this one part where you had to answer 3 questions to move on and there was this one literature based question that we didn't know so I finally asked the school librarian for the answer. I had the sequel (Hugo II: Whodunnit (or something like that)) but never could get anywhere with it.

Never owned the game, but one of my friends waaaaay back had all sorts of DOS games on his computer and this was one of them. Was fun.

On the topic of old computer games, anyone remember any of these? (spoiler tagged to keep thread sorta shortened; the first few are admittedly rather obvious):
