Just thought of this, everyone always says so and so is a terrible announcer,etc. Well what announcers in any sport do some of you actually like?

If we are talking about national announcers id have to go with Joe Buck , Phil Simms and Jeff Van Gundy

Joe Buck is one of the worst announcers in all of sports IMO. I enjoy Troy Aikman and Darrell Johnston (sp) for football, and Scott Franzke (Radio for the Phillies). I don't really like any of the national MLB guys

The only announcers I enjoy are Vin Scully







Kevin Harlan, Gus Johnson, Jon Miller and Mike Tirico (these guys don't deserve to be on the same line as Vin Scully).

I like my local announcers. Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond (Hockey), Mario Impemba and Rod Allen (Baseball), George Blaha and Greg Kelser (Basketball).

Heh Gus Johnson is exciting, but I find overall he's a terrible announcer but that's just me.

Some of my favorites are Jim Nantz, Jon Gruden, Van Gundy, Herbsreit, and the Marlins TV announcers aren't bad but I don't exactly watch many of the baseball announcers.
