Well I don't know about anyone else but I just love how he goes batcrap insane whenever something exciting is happening.

Beyond that he's pretty average.

I feel like Costas is being wasted at NBC. What does he do? Olympics and NFL pregame and halftime?

Someone ship him to ESPN where they could really use him for some things.

Costas calls games for MLB-N with Jim Kaat. It's sort of an odd pairing but enjoyable. (I heard them do a Yankees game)

I agree that Costas should be calling MLB games for either ESPN or FOX. The man loves and his knowledge of the game is second to none.

At first its not that bad, he's enjoyable to listen to, but the more you listen to him and his stupid "HA HA", it will grind on your nerves.

Heh Gus Johnson is exciting, but I find overall he's a terrible announcer but that's just me.

Some of my favorites are Jim Nantz, Jon Gruden, Van Gundy, Herbsreit, and the Marlins TV announcers aren't bad but I don't exactly watch many of the baseball announcers.

I agree with the top.

Nantz and Gruden are pretty good. I can't stand Van Gundy or Herbstreit. I just find Gundy terrible, however Herbstreit isn't bad, he's just annoying.

He's the Gus Johnson of being quiet and reserved. I like a happy medium. Unless it's college sports, then go ape****.
