Apparently the number rose up to 8.9, making it the 5th strongest quake since they've been tracked.

I was literally seconds away from playing The Show, but I just wanted to check through some sites quickly, then came across this on Twitter, flipped to CNN and have been watching ever since. It's hard not to stop watching because you don't know what's going to happen next or how much worse it's going to get.

The first video looks like something out of some apocalyptic movie...unreal.

Those videos on CNN are just unreal. Masive fireball at an oil refinery.

I was watching that for awhile, and at one point there was a huge ball of fire that shot up...I don't know if it was an explosion or not, but it wasn't good.

They just said one of the aftershocks measured higher than the Haiti earthquake. A freaking aftershock.

Hawaii and West Coasters.. Please listen to the news. Hawaii is under a warning and West coast has a watch on.

Local news is saying to listen around 7am in SF for more information. I live about 5 blocks from the Pacific so ill be up.
