I am a highschool teacher, and one of the things I hate about "0" tolerance is that if you defend yourself you get suspended! If me and my wife ever have children, I will teach my son martial arts (I use to instruct). I will teach him/her to walk away from a fight if at all possible! That being said, if he/she were to be bullied or ATTACKED like the kid in the video, I will teach them how to finish off the other kid or kids.

I am disgusted that the kid being bullied was suspended! I've seen it happen where I teach! I always want to secretly tell the kid being picked on, to kick the crap out of the other kid. There are only so many times a kid can be bullied, and there be no real consequence for the bullies! Sometimes a person has to defend themselves!

This is just one of those Peter Parker dilemmas though. With great power comes great responsibility, you know? Misuse of that leads to worse roads. If he thinks violence is the answer to every problem like this, it will lead to some serious trouble in life. This guy is getting bullied on a constant basis? Sure, being verbally counteracting is a good start but if you can manage to get out of the pickle, contact authorities. I mean teachers, staff, principal, etc. Obviously if you have a gun to your head, you have to make a drastic effort to survive... but this kid is already bigger than them, I'd say that is enough of a threat. I'm not saying back down, I'm just saying seek alternatives.

I understand why this kid was suspended, did you see the throw-down? It was literally a Hulk moment there. I don't know why the other kid wasn't suspended though, especially if the school has access to this footage. I'll tell you one thing, his parents will sure get a piece of him if they weren't aware of this (but that's saved for another discussion).

I would love for my children to know self-defense, but so help me God if they can't control when and when not to use it. That's completely on them, and it's a mental quality, not physical.

No, this isn't a Peter Parker thing. That little kid has that little Napoleon complex and he's been led to believe that since he is tiny he can do whatever the hell he wants. He's like a fly, except people just want him to be shooed away and not swatted at. There's always a little kid bully because they know they can get away with it with most people. As a kid, its always about the bigger kid's self-control over their strength and handling smaller kids, but sooner or later a fly is gonna be swatted down. Hell, the kid clocked a giant in the face, what the hell he think was gonna happen.

You can only control your **** for so long before all that stress and frustration boils over. At least he didn't go rampaging through the school.

I agree with the suspension, but the camera guy and the little kid need suspensions as well. I find it hard to believe with video evidence of the little kid smacking Golly Green in the face that he isn't sitting his limp-legged *** at home.
