OS Uni Snob Thread

I'm a big fan of all Seattle sports using the dark navy/neon green.

It would be cool, like how all Pittsburgh teams are black/gold. But the Mariners use teal, and if a basketball team ever gets back here, it'd probably be green and yellow.

That reminds me I wish the Penguins would go back to the old yellow instead of this new gold.

I just like that they keep the colors relatively similar. Even if the Sonics come back, at least they wear green.

Also, I do not support the throwbacks full time either. I also have to say that I don't really are for teams that have silver pants and helmets' away uniforms.

Btw, when they switched to this new set, the Seahawks allowed fans to vote for which helmet they wanted (because the NFL won't let teams use two helmets) and the blue beat the silver.

I like how they always use the worst possible lighting, so you can see as little detail as possible. Is it really that hard to take a normal photograph for once, Nike?

Did you click the link? There are more pictures in the slideshow, I just picked the ones that were more different than the others. Pretty sure they use the lighting to bring detail to a certain area of the uniform at a time.


I'm just surprised the NCAA has not said anything about the extendable blades. That's got to be quite the schematic advantage for Oregon. I wonder if Adidas will come out with wolverine (the X-Man, not the Michigan mascot [although that could be their bull**** reason for doing it]) esque blades that come out of the back of the gloves.

What is that supposed to be on the shoulders? Looks like armor plating of some sort....Actually it kinda looks like bird poop to me which is basically what I think this uniform is.

Yeah I saw the photo's, just wondering why they can't take regular photographs. They use the lighting to make it look "super awesome, dude". It always has to be something with Nike. I just want to see the uniforms, not some half baked attempt at photography.
